Tevarya Dance Shoes Giveaway

2020 has been a year like no other. We at Tevarya Dance Shoes have had a difficult year, because the world seems to have gone crazy! We're going to do something a little different to celebrate the holiday giving season.

We've decided to help support and build the dance community, project by project. Steven James' student dancers will be our first project.

Our Holiday Giveaway is this:

For every pair of shoes purchased at full price on our website or at a trunk show, Tevarya Dance Shoes will donate one pair of latin dance shoes to Steven for his students. Click HERE to go to the Tevarya website.

Steven is an Australian who makes his home in Puerto Rico. He focuses on teaching ballroom dance to kids and teens. 65% of his students are on scholarship; Steven essentially teaches most students for free. Money is scarce in Puerto Rico, and money for dance shoes is even more scarce.

At the 2019 Caribbean Dancesport Festival Steven brought 57 dancers ranging in age from 6 to 21 years old. It was the first time Puerto Rican dancers competed in a ballroom competition - in their own backyard!

AND... we at Tevarya Dance Shoes will take this even further as our way of giving thanks for our blessings and sharing with the dance community. We are in the active process of creating a non-profit corporation that will continue to support dance communities, project by project, by collecting donations of shoes, costumes, and financial support. If you have a dance project that needs support, please contact us and make your need(s) known.

Most of us are more fortunate than we realize - thank you in advance for counting your blessings.
